What are gift subscriptions?
Gift subscriptions are a way to give a Speak membership to family, friends, or anyone you want to help on their language learning journey. Gifts are available for individual accounts and last for one year.

Please note that at this time only gifting Premium Plus is available.

To purchase multiple gifts, simply repeat the check out process for each gift. Each gift will be sent individually to your recipients on the date you specify, at midnight in your time zone.
Can I give a gift to someone who already has a Speak subscription?
Yes! The recipient will need to wait until their current subscription expires. Then, they can redeem their gift by logging into their Speak account.
Can I choose the delivery date for my gift?
Yes, you can choose the “Send Date” of your gift as in the gift purchase flow. Gift subscriptions are emailed to the recipient at midnight in your time zone on the date you select to send the gift. If you choose to send the gift on the same day that you purchase it, the email will be sent immediately.
Is there an expiration date on the gift?
Gift subscriptions do not expire, and can be redeemed for a Speak subscription at any time.
My recipient hasn’t received their gift!
If the recipient hasn’t received their gift on the day you specified, please ask them to check their “Promotions”, “Junk”, or “Spam” folder. If the gift email still cannot be found, please send your order confirmation number to support@usespeak.com and our customer support team will help.
I’m getting an error when redeeming my gift!
If you receive an error message when redeeming your gift through the Redeem button in your email and you are not currently on an active Speak subscription, we recommend you clearing your cache. If you continue to have issues with redeeming your Speak membership, please reach out to support@usespeak.com with your email and redemption code and our customer support team will help.
How do I redeem my gift?

2. Click on the Redeem button in your email
3. Sign up or login to complete the registration process
4. Download the Speak app to login and begin your language journey
